Notice of Public Hearing-Annual Plan for Funding CDBG, ESG, HOME and HOPWA Programs

The City of Providence has prepared the annual action plan for funding the following programs for the program year beginning July 1, 2009 and ending June 30, 2010:

  • Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
  • Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG)
  • HOME
  • Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) programs

A public hearing will be held on Friday, April 24, 2008 at the Department of Planning and Development, 4th Floor Conference Room, 400 Westminster Street, Providence, Rhode Island to solicit comments on the proposed annual action plan, the 2006-2007 CAPER as well as any Consolidated Planning Strategy Amendments. 

Copies of the annual plan are available for review at the Department of Planning and Development.  Written comments on the proposed plan are being accepted from April 14, 2009 to May 13, 2009.
