Create-Plan-Implement:  In our role as the lead planning agency for the City, we are responsible for creating and implementing plans to achieve the City's vision for the future.   Additionally, we are actively engaged in state and regional planning efforts that affect Providence. 

 

Neighborhood Planning
Creation, adoption and implementation of plans that address issues and concerns at the neighborhood level


 

Comprehensive Planning
Creation and updating of Providence Tomorrow:  The Interim Comprehensive Plan and the Zoning Ordinance








 

Specific Plans
Projects that extend across neighborhood boundaries, such as the Waterfront Plan, or have a topical focus such as economic development.
